I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
